Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that there will be an implementation of scheduled maintenance work involving valve replacements at three (3) locations, namely Taman Sri Indah Balakong, Cheras Inlet, and the main divider substation in front of The Mines. The works will cause a scheduled water supply disruption in five (5) areas in the Hulu Langat Region from 9:00 pm, 28 September 2021, and is expected to fully recover at 6.00 am, 30 September 2021. The list of areas affected by the scheduled water supply disruption is listed in Appendix A.
The scheduled implementation of these major asset maintenance works has been approved by Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN) to ensure the water supply distribution system is at its best level for the convenience of consumers in the future.
The scheduled maintenance work will be implemented from 9:00 pm, 28 September 2021 to 6:00 am, 29 September 2021. Water supply will be distributed in stages and is expected to be fully restored at 6:00 am, 30 September 2021.
The duration of the water supply disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of the consumers’ premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.
Air Selangor would like to advise the affected consumers to store adequate water supply and use water prudently during the scheduled water supply disruption period.
