Air Selangor Spreads Joy to The Community in Conjunction with Its Second Anniversary Celebration

Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) celebrates its second anniversary today, having operated as the single holistic licensee to supply water in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya since 13 September 2019. Air Selangor is now the largest water supply service provider in Malaysia, providing clean and treated water to 8.4 million consumers in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya. In line with the brand refreshed strategy, Air Selangor wishes to realise its refined vision, ‘We will be the leading water services provider in Asia by 2030’ alongside the mission, ‘We provide the best customer experience.’ This is also implemented through our brand promise, ‘Joy In Every Drop’, so that our consumers can have a positive experience with Air Selangor.

In conjunction with the second anniversary, Air Selangor continues to serve the society by strengthening our community activities, especially to ease the burden of those in need around Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya. With the theme ‘Sharing Our Joy Together’, Air Selangor carried out several activities with the community under the Sesama Mara programme, especially for the B40 group who requires assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic around Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

Under the Sesama Mara programme as well, Air Selangor extends the help to 262 individuals and families from the B40 group. The first initiative is the essential food assistance, ‘Box of Hope’ to a total of 222 individuals and families in four locations, namely Kampung Ampang Indah, Tmn Mulia Jaya, Persiaran Ampang Saujana and Kampung Lembah Jaya Selatan. Additionally, Air Selangor will also bear the cost of 40 internal pipe repairs for welfare homes and B40 families through the ‘Plumbing Assistance Service For the Less Fortunate’ around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. These initiatives demonstrate our efforts in providing happiness to the consumers, in addition to the clean and safe water supply distributed to them.
