Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the work of transferring and connecting new pipes near the Carlsberg factory in Persiaran Selangor in Section 15, Shah Alam will be carried out starting from 9:00 a.m., 12 January 2021. Following the work to transfer and connect these pipes, a total of 22 areas in the Shah Alam Region, 4 areas in the Klang Region, and 10 areas in the Petaling Region will experience a scheduled water disruption starting from 9:00 a.m., 12 January 2021. Water supply will recover starting at 9:00 a.m., 14 January 2021. The list of areas that will be affected by the scheduled water disruption is as in Appendix A.
The duration of disruption and water supply recovery in the affected areas will vary, depending on the distance of the location of the consumers’ premises and the water pressure on the distribution system.
Air Selangor would like to advise affected consumers to keep enough water supply and use water prudently during this scheduled water supply disruption period.
The implementation of this work will enable the water supply distribution system to always be in optimal condition. The improvement of this pipeline infrastructure is also part of Air Selangor’s efforts in improving our services to provide the best experience and convenience for consumers in the future.
