Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of a pipe burst incident at the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Kuala Lumpur. To ensure the emergency repair works run smoothly, Air Selangor has suspended the water supply at 11:30 am today, 9 November 2021.
The water supply suspension will cause an unscheduled water supply disruption in 13 areas in the Kuala Lumpur region. The list of areas affected by the unscheduled water supply disruption is as follows:
1. Taman Muda
2. Taman Bukit Permai
3. Taman Bukit Pandan
4. Kg Cheras Baru
5. Taman Mawar
6. Taman Seraya
7. Taman Mega
8. Taman Bukit Teratai
9. Taman Melur
10. Taman Saga
11. Taman Putra
12. Pandan Mewah
13. Taman Mestika
The repair works are expected to be completed at 11:30 am, 10 November 2021. Consumers will be receiving their water supply in stages once the repair works have been implemented.
Air Selangor will be mobilising water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres as well as funeral services. Consumers are required to adhere to physical distancing and to wear a face mask at all time while collecting water supply from the water tankers.
