Our priority is to protect the health and safety of our people, to minimise the environmental impact associated with our activities, to assure positive effects and contribute to sustainable development.

At present, all ten (10) distribution regions and two (2) Water Treatment Plants have successfully obtained OHSAS 18001: 2007 Occupational Safety and Health Management Certification without any major non-compliance findings and with this certification, we will have a more systematic and recognised Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management system throughout the world as well as reflecting the company's commitment to the safety and health of its employees.

As for contractors, a Safety Induction Course for Contractors has begun since 2017 as a HSE Section initiative to provide contractors with basic knowledge of occupational safety and health before being allowed to work. This initiative is carried out while taking into account the employer's obligations as mentioned in Section 15 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 to provide information, instruction, training and supervision to all its employees
