Early Notice of Scheduled Water Supply Disruption in the Petaling Region Following Upgrading Works for the Water Supply System in Bukit Dengkil Reservoir

Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform of the upcoming
implementation of the upgrading works for the water supply system in Bukit Dengkil Reservoir. The
implementation of the works will cause a scheduled water supply disruption in 47 areas in the Petaling
region starting from 9:00 am, 21 June 2022 and is expected to fully recover at 9:00 am, 22 June 2022.
The list of areas affected by the scheduled water supply disruption is listed in Appendix A.

The implementation of these works has been approved by Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara
(SPAN) to ensure that the water supply distribution system is at its best level for the convenience of
consumers in the future.

Water supply will be distributed in stages to consumers starting from 9:00 pm, 21 June 2022 after the
upgrading works have been completed, and the water supply distribution system has been stabilised. Water supply is expected to fully recover at 9:00 am, 22 June 2022. The duration of the water supply
disruption and recovery in the affected areas will vary depending on the distance of the consumers’
premises and the water pressure at the distribution system.

Following that, Air Selangor will be mobilising water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given
to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres and funerals. Therefore, Air Selangor would like
to advise the affected customers to store adequate water supply and use water prudently during the
scheduled water supply disruption period.

For commercial customers, water supply purchase using their own water tankers will be made
available at one local water filling station. Commercial customers can make payment for the water
supply purchase at Jalan TPP 5/17, Taman Perindustrian Puchong.

Consumers can obtain information on the scheduled water supply disruption from time to time via all
our official communication channels, namely the Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram,
Twitter or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300. Inquiries and complaints can also be
submitted to the Help Centre via www.airselangor.com and the Air Selangor application.
