Terms & Conditions
GENERAL
1. Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (“Air Selangor”) is the organiser of a virtual run called “Air Selangor Virtual Hydro Run 2021” (“Hydro Run 2021”) on various platform.
2. In conjunction with the Hydro Run, Air Selangor is organising an online social media contest called the e-bib Contest (“Contest”) at Air Selangor’s official Facebook channel (Air Selangor) which shall be open to the participants of the Hydro Run 2021.
3. By entering the Contest, the participant is deemed to have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to the terms and conditions below.
Contest Period
1. The Contest will be held from 16 April 2021 – 30 June 2021. (“Contest Period”).
2. Entries received beyond the Contest Period for each giveaway will not be entertained.
3. Air Selangor reserves the right to vary, postpone or re-schedule the dates of the Contest or extend the Contest Period, or cancel the Contest at its sole discretion without prior notification to the participants.
4. Air Selangor may terminate or suspend the Contest at any time at its absolute discretion in which case, Air Selangor may choose not to award any prize. Such termination or suspension shall not give rise to any claim by the participant.
Eligibility
1. The Contest is open to all Malaysian residents’ participants of the Hydro Run 2021 aged 18 and above, except employees of Air Selangor and their family members, Air Selangor’s third-party agencies, associates, affiliates or subsidiaries, including family members, intermediaries, agents or anyone connected or involved in the administration of the Contest.
2. Air Selangor reserves the right to exclude and/or disqualify any participant and/or Contest entry it deems inappropriate, offensive, or unfit for the Contest, without prior notice or reason given.
Contest Entry
To join the Contest, the participant must;
1. Share Virtual Hydro Run 2021 e-bib at Air Selangor dedicated post for e-bib contest
Qualification
1. Each entry must be submitted and posted through the Participant’s own genuine personal Facebook account. A person who uses or attempts to use more than one (1) Facebook account to participate in the Contest shall be disqualified.
2. Any entry submitted outside of the Weekly Contest Period will not be accepted.
Disqualification
1. Any participant who is not eligible or fails to follow one of the steps above will be disqualified.
Winners Selection
1. A total of 100 winners will be chosen based on submissions pulled from Air Selangor’s Facebook comments section.
2. Winners will be selected randomly after the Contest Period by 30 June 2021
3. The winners will be announced on Air Selangor’s Facebook page not more than 2 weeks after contest ends.
4. Air Selangor shall have the absolute discretion in respect of all matters and disputes concerning the Contest including deciding the winners.
5. Air Selangor’s decision on the winners list shall be final and no further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
The Prizes
1. Winners of the Contest will receive 100x Air Selangor Virtual Hydro Run 2021 Special Edition Tote Bag (“Prize”).
2. Once a winner is announced, he/she must accept the prize by contacting Air Selangor via Air Selangor’s Facebook page within 14 working days after the winner’s announcement is made. Winner will need to provide accurate contact details and address to ensure successful delivery of the Prize. Any changes of contact details or address after delivery will not be entertained.
3. Prizes will be delivered via courier services to winners’ given address.
4. Distribution of Prizes will be made together with the distribution of race packs for the virtual run by JomRun
5. The risk of the collection, receipt or acceptance of the Prize is under the responsibility of the winners. Air Selangor and JomRun will not be held responsible for any Prizes which are damaged, lost or stolen in transit nor shall Air Selangor and JomRun be obliged to replace them.
6. Air Selangor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of similar value at any time at its sole discretion.
7. If the Prize remain unclaimed within 14 working days after the winner’s announcement is made, the Prize will be forfeited (without any liability on the part of Air Selangor to participants and/ or any person). Air Selangor reserves the right to award any forfeited Prize to another participant at its sole discretion. The Prizes are neither transferable nor exchangeable for credit, cash or any kind, whether in part or in full.
8. Air Selangor hereby declares that the Contest is not sponsored or endorsed by the brands related to the prizes.
Personal Data Protection Act 2010
1. By entering the Contest, the participant hereby agrees and gives his consent for Air Selangor and any appointed third-party agencies, its associates, affiliates, or subsidiaries to process (including but not limited to collecting, recording, holding, storing, using, disclosing and/or carrying out any operation on such personal data) his personal data, photo(s) and other confidential information for the Contest’s purposes and the publicity of Air Selangor in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
2. If the Participant wins any prize in the Contest, the Participant agrees and gives his consent for Air Selangor to disclose his name to the general public by publishing the participants’ names, photographs and other personal information without compensation for advertising and publicity purposes.
3. The Participant further agrees and consent Air Selangor to collect and use the participant’s personal information for future marketing and promotional purposes.
Liability & Responsibility
1. Air Selangor will not be responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorised access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet and/or websites.
2. Participants also agree that Air Selangor is not responsible nor liable for any delay to the participant’s and/or any third party’s computer, computer system or apparatus relating to or resulting from the access to, participation in the Contest, including the playing, downloading of any materials or information from the Contest and in connection with the Contest, submission / uploading for the Contest, including without limitation any server failure, lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction.
