Kuala Lumpur – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor), through the Online Learning Empowerment programme under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Sesama Mara, has sponsored 240 students from B40 families who are preparing for SPM examination with access to digital education, in collaboration with Pandai Education Sdn Bhd (Pandai).
This programme‘s collaboration with Pandai continues for a second year, providing sustainable and interactive digital learning materials through the Pandai Premium app, allowing these students to excel and continue receiving quality education.
Adam Saffian Ghazali, Chief Executive Officer of Air Selangor said, “We are committed to giving back to surrounding communities through grassroots initiatives by supporting children from B40 families with access to quality digital learning. When these students are given equal opportunities to access digital learning, we hope it will help them prepare for the SPM examination and at the same time improve their overall academic performance.”
This year’s recipients of the Pandai Premium app subscription include 72 children of Air Selangor employees, 60 students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Puchong, 40 students from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Padang Tembak, 13 students from Rumah Kebajikan Kasih Harmoni Paya Jaras, and 55 selected students from basic Pandai app users. To date, Air Selangor has sponsored 415 students with Pandai app subscriptions, including 175 students last year.
Pandai Premium is a comprehensive subscription plan that provides students access to all practice questions, tests, notes, 1-on-1 chat assistance, online tutoring in all subjects, and exam questions for uninterrupted revision at any time.
Meanwhile, Pandai Education Sdn Bhd’s Chief Executive Officer, Khairul Anwar Mohamad Zaki, commented, “We are honored to continue our collaboration with Air Selangor for a second year to support students from underprivileged families. This programme not only benefits the students but also supports our efforts to ensure that quality education is accessible to all, in line with the Ministry of Education Malaysia’s agenda to drive digital education.”
