The Sustainable Development Section under Risk Management Department was established with the objective of integrating the principles of sustainability into Air Selangor’s business operations. Subsequently, the Sustainability Working Committee (“SWC”) was set up and has been tasked to assist the Sustainable Development Section in ensuring the effective implementation of sustainability practices, as part of evaluating and making key strategic and operational decisions.

The Head of Sustainable Development section reports to the Head of Risk Management Department, who then reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The sustainability working committee comprises all relevant Head of Sections, chaired by the Head of Sustainable Development Section. The sustainability working committee meets at least once per quarter to discuss, update, and provide feedback on sustainability practices across Air Selangor’s operations.
